SpyBuster 3.5 Technical Features:
The SpyBuster Scan Engine has been completely redesigned giving
SpyBuster 3.5 even more power, speed and detection capabilities.
Combining our already unique search algorithm with several new
scan routines, SpyBuster 3.5 combines all of the search elements
into an easy to use graphical user interface allowing the end user
to obtain the best results with our new scan engine.
Here is a list displaying the changes from our version 2.0 engine
to version 3.5:
Scan Engine:
Improved the scanning of running processes in Windows memory.
Added memory module scanning.
Added intelligent cookie scanning.
Added intelligent polymorphic spyware scanning.
Added several new algorithms to our registry scan routine.
Added an extensive and fully customizable file system scan,
completely redoing the existing file scan from version 2.0.
Added a custom scan feature allowing users to design their own
scan routines.
Added the ability to detect unknown and variant spyware files not
currently in our database.
Added the ability for users to share unknown and variant spyware
via our SpyWatch Community, allowing our technicians to release
prompt database updates giving each user the ultimate protection.
Added the ability for users to clean only selected files.
User Interface:
Completely rebuild the entire platform, giving SpyBuster 3.5 a
fresh new "XP Feel" and easy to use interface.
Added new reporting options and details allowing users to view
more statistics about the scan progress and results found.
Reduced the number of dialog windows allowing a cleaner and more
functional main interface.
Advanced Features:
Redesigned the real-time monitor with better memory management,
prompt alerts, and improved scan accuracy.
Added a History Viewer allowing users to view information about
previous scans.
Modified the Internet Explorer Browser Hijack Utility.
Added a memory/process display tool giving users the ability to
view all current files being used in memory, and the option to
terminate suspicious processes.
